MANILA, Philippines — Bahrain League volleyball club Bani Jamra expressed its gratitude to Marck Espejo for completing his contract with the team.
In a post on Instagram, the team management honored Espejo, who was even taken on a tour at the Bani Jamra textile factory.
The 23-year-old Espejo made his Bahrain League debut last November playing for Bani Jamra until his contract expired late January.
The former Ateneo star, a five-time UAAP MVP, was one of the leaders of the Philippine team that won the breakthrough silver medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Before taking his talents to Bahrain, Espejo also had stints in Japan and Thailand.
