MANILA, Philippines—Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Gelo Alolino, and Russel Escoto all bid farewell to San Miguel after they were traded to Terrafirma along with two future picks in exchange for scoring champion CJ Perez.

In social media posts, the three former Beermen thanked the franchise despite brief stints for Alolino and Escoto. Ganuelas-Rosser spent the most time in the club.

“Grateful for all of it!” posted Ganuelas-Rosser, a five-time PBA champion with four of those during his time with the Beermen.

“I appreciate all my teammates, coaches, support staff, and management at San Miguel. Will cherish the memories I made on and off the court and the relationships that go way beyond the basketball court! Wish them nothing but the best,” added Ganuelas-Rosser.

Alolino and Escoto, who arrived in San Miguel in 2020, only had one conference under their belts with the team during the Philippine Cup inside the Clark bubble.

Despite staying with the club for barely a year, Alolino and Escoto never forgot to express their gratitude to the iconic franchise.

“Thank you SMB organization for the opportunity. Learned a lot from the experiences. A short but sweet stint. #Beermen,” posted Alolino.

“Thank you San Miguel management, the bosses, coaches, teammates, support staff, and the fans,” posted Escoto. “It was a short stint but I learned a lot from this team and will always feel blessed to have played with the Beermen. I wish you all the best and more power. God bless you all!”
