James De Los Santos wins 2nd eKATA gold of the year
MANILA, Philippines—James De Los Santos copped his second title of the year after his triumph in the first Inner Strength Martial Arts International eTournament.
De Los Santos, the no.1 eKATA player in the world, defeated Nejc Sterniša of Slovenia in the final 25.4-24.6, pushing his total medal count to 38.

His student Fatima A-Isha Lim Hamsain also brought home a couple of gold medals despite competing in the older divisions of U16 and U18.
Hamsain had a close victory over Latvia’s Jelizaveta Vasiljeva 24.1-23.8 in the U16 final and followed that up with a 24-23.5 win over Germany’s Marie Zinecker in the U18 division.
De Los Santos started the year with a gold medal in the SportData eTournament World Series #1 when he beat South Africa’s Silvio Cerone-Biagoni 25.3-24.5 in the final.
