MANILA, Philippines—TNT acquired the fourth overall pick in the upcoming 2021 PBA rookie draft in a three-team trade on Thursday involving sister team NLEXT and Blackwater.

The Road Warriors shipped the no.4 pick in Sunday’s Draft night to Blackwater for center Maurice Shaw, Roi Sumang, Don Trollano, and the Bossing’s 2022 second round selection.

Blackwater then sent the draft pick to the Tropang Giga in exchange for Simon Enciso, David Semerad, TNT’s 2023 first round pick and 2024 second round pick.

The PBA officially announced the trade on its official website on Thursday.

TNT was originally left without a pick in the first two rounds of the 2021 PBA Draft but the no.4 selection puts the club in a position to get a viable young talent to add to its roster despite the departure of polarizing wing Bobby Ray Parks Jr.

The three clubs also had a similar transaction in 2019.

NLEX received this year’s no.3 pick from Blackwater in a trade that sent then Road Warriors center Poy Erram to the Tropang Giga.

That rrade saw NLEX receive Anthony Semerad, Rabeh Al Hussaini and the rights to Blackwater’s future draft picks, one of which turned out to be the no.3 selection in this year’s Draft.

The Bossing, meanwhile, received Marion Magat, Ed Daquioag, Yousef Taha, and TNT’s future picks.

TNT is now coached by returning multi-titled mentor Chot Reyes.
