MANILA, Philippines — Talismanic spiker Kalei Mau is set to rejoin F2 Logistics ahead of the Premier Volleyball League season in May.

The Cargo Movers’ offensive star announced on Twitter that she’d leave Hawaii at the end of March to rejoin her teammates for their first season in the PVL.

“Hi to all my Philippine volleyball fans! Many of you are wondering if I will return to the PH to play in the upcoming conference with @F2CargoMovers in the @PVLph, the answer is yes!” wrote Mau on her Twitter account Wednesday.

Mau has been in Hawaii while volleyball remained dormant in the Philippines during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The PVL received a clearance from the government to play as it earned a professional status from the Games and Amusements Board.

F2 Logistics is one of the teams that is expected to instantly contend for the PVL title with the franchise sharing the distinction as the most successful club in the Philippine Superliga with Petron as both teams own five championships each.

Mau’s arrival will beef up an already vaunted Cargo Movers roster that includes Philippine internationals Mary Joy Baron, Kianna Dy, and Dawn Macandili.

A two-time PSL champion, Mau was also the 2019 All-Filipino Conference Best Scorer and MVP.

“I’m preparing for my return at the end of this month. Enjoying my last weeks in beautiful Hawaii,” wrote Mau.
