Sta. Lucia bolsters frontline with veteran Dell Palomata
MANILA, Philippines—Sta. Lucia beefed up its frontline after it signed veteran middle blocker Dell Palomata ahead of the start of the Premier Volleyball League.
The Lady Realtors announced the acquisition Tuesday on social media.

Palomata, who previously played with Philippine Air Force, will join a Lady Realtors team that has middle blockers Mika Reyes and Amy Ahomiro together with opposite hitters MJ Phillips and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas.
Sta. Lucia was one of the teams that jumped from the Philippine Superliga to the PVL early this year after the latter turned pro.
The PVL is expected to start its first professional season some time in the second quarter of this year.
