MANILA, Philippines–Sta. Lucia picked up its first victory in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, sweeping PLDT Home Fibr, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21, on Monday in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.

The Lady Realtors bounced back after bowing to Creamline on opening day.

“We had a good game. The entire team played well. I’m happy with their performance,” said Sta. Lucia coach Eddieson Orcullo in Filipino.

MJ Phillips led the Sta. Lucia with 14 points including five blocks, Dell Palomata added 12 points while Mika Reyes had 11 markers.

The Power Hitters continued to struggle, dropping their second consecutive game after an opening day loss to Chery Tiggo. 

Isa Molde was the lone double-digit scorer for PLDT Home Fibr with 11, all from kills.
