MANILA, Philippines—Yuka Saso kept pace for the top after going one-under-par 71 in the second round of the AIG Women’s British Open at Carnoustle Golf Links in Scotland.

The Filipino Olympian shot an overall 5-under-par 139 over the course of the two rounds and is tied at sixth place as of posting, just two strokes behind leaders Mina Harigae and Georgia Hall who both hit 7-under-par 137.

World number one and Olympic champion Nelly Korda, one of three co-leaders after the first round, is still on the course.

Saso started strong, hitting birdies in holes 4 and 5 but ended up with a bogey in the ninth.

The back nine was more of the same for the reigning US Women’s Open as she hit a bogey in hole 12 but recovered in hole 14.
