MANILA, Philippines—Juan Gomez de Liaño logged in more minutes this time around but Earthfriends Tokyo Z dropped their second loss to Kagawa, 100-85, in the second division of the B.League Sunday at Kanonji City Gymnasium.
Gomez de Liaño played 16 minutes, nearly 13 more than in his previous game, and finished with 10 points, going 2-of-5 from deep, with two rebounds, and one steal.
The former University of the Philippines star played just 3:33 on Saturday in the Earthfriends’ 89-82 loss to the Five Arrows.
Tokyo Z plays Passlab Yamagata Wyverns next weekend at Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.
The Earthfriends, who slid to 0-2, sit in the fifth spot of B2’s Eastern Conference while the Five Arrows share the first seed with Fukuoka in the Western Conference at 2-0.
