Juan Gomez de Liaño plays sparingly in Japan B.League debut
MANILA, Philippines — Still groping for form, Juan Gomez de Liaño hardly played in his debut for Earthfriends Tokyo Z in the Japan B.League Division 2 on Saturday.
Gomez de Liaño logged just three minutes and had two points, one assist and a steal in Tokyo Z’s 89-82 loss to the Kagawa Five Arrows at Temple Municipal Gymnasium.

Australian center Angus Brandt led Kagawa with 26 points
Haitian big man Marc-Eddy Norelia paced Tokyo Z with 28 points.
Gomez de Liaño’s older brother, Javi, has yet to make his debut for the Ibaraki Robots in Division 1 due to quarantine.
