Kai Sotto, Adelaide to see action in NBL preseason tournament

MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto is set to play in his first professional tournament as Adelaide sees action in the coming NBL Blitz in Tasmania on November 14.
The 36ers will play in the preseason tournament against the Tasmania JackJumpers, Brisbane Bullets, New Zealand Breakers, Perth Wildcats, and Cairns Taipans.
The league opens in December in a delayed start.
NBL Blitz will also hold tournanments in Victoria and New South Wales with Melbourne United, Syndey Kings, Illawara Hawks, and South East Melbourne Phoenix pitted against each other.
Competing teams in the preseason won’t just be tallied based on their win-loss records but they will also be given points depending on their performance.
Games are worth a maximum of seven points with three points given to the winning team, while another point is awarded for every quarter won.
