B.League: Kobe Paras, Niigata fall to Hokkaido
MANILA, Philippines—Hokkaido stunned Niigata and Kobe Paras for its first win, 88-75, in the East Conference of the Japan B.League season Saturday at Hokkai Kitayell.
The Levanga snapped their disappointing four-game losing streak at the start of the season to improve to 1-4 while Paras and the Albirex BB dropped to 2-3.
Article continues after this advertisementHokkaido was relentless in the opening quarter as it outscored the Albirex BB 31-10 and that was all the Levanga wrote as they rode that outburst throughout the contest.
Hashimoto Ryoma finished with a game-high 20 points for Hokkaido while five of his teammates also finished in double figures.
De’mon Brooks had 13 points and 11 rebounds while Nakano Tsukasa also chipped in 13 points of his own for the Levanga.
