MANILA, Philippines — Looking forward to his matchup with Ray Parks, Thirdy Ravena went throwback on social media ahead of their showdown in the Japan B.League.
With a hint of nostalgia, Ravena posted an photo of him and Parks when they were still kids on Instagram on the eve of San-En and Nagoya’s game on Wednesday.
“We’ve come a long way,” Ravena, who is in his second season with the NeoPhoenix, said with a laughing emoji.
San-En is currently ninth in the West with a 3-5 record while Nagoya sits in sixth at 4-4.
Ravena is averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Parks, on the other hand, is averaging 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals through five games for the Diamond Dolphins.
He missed Nagoya’s first three games due to an injury. The Dolphins are 4-1 since Parks made his debut.
