MANILA, Philippines — Nagoya dominated from start to finish in a 98-70 whipping of San-En in the Japan B.League on Wednesday at Toyohashi City Gymnasium.

The game marked the first time Ray Parks and Thirdy Ravena matched up in the B.League but there was hardly any duel as the Diamond Dolphins jumped out to a commanding lead early.

Scott Eatherton led Nagoya with 19 points and nine rebounds while Coty Clarke collected 16 points four rebounds, seven assists and four steals.

Parks added 13 points for the Dolphins, who took a 70-44 advantage heading into the final frame.

Thirdy Ravena and Elias Harris each tallied 14 points for San-En, which has now lost four of its last five games for a 3-6 mark.

“Hate losing home games,” Ravena posted on social media. “Sorry Toyohashi. We will bounce back stronger.”

Nagoya, which shot 59 percent from the field including 12-of-25 from downtown, improved to 5-4.

Ravena scored seven points in the first five minutes of the game but his hot start still couldn’t keep the Dolphins from zooming to a 25-12 lead at the end of the opening period.
