MANILA, Philippines — Kawasaki rolled past Shiga, 91-74, and spoiled Kiefer Ravena’s birthday on Wednesday in the Japan B.League at Ukaruchan Arena.

The Brave Thunders scored the game’s first 13 points and were never threatened en route to their sixth win in nine stints.

Jordan Heath recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Nick Fazekas collected 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists for Kawasaki.

Ovi Soko and Novar Gadson combined for 34 points and 16 rebounds while Ravena, who turned 28 years old, added 13 points for Shiga.

The Lakestars missed an opportunity to grab a share of the top spot as it slid to 6-3, the same record as the Brave Thunders.

Shiga came into the game having won five of its last six, but the Lakestars were just out of it from the start against the Brave Thunders, who drew 10 first quarter points from Heath.
