MANILA, Philippines—Nagoya wasted no time in getting back to the winners’ circle as it battered Mikawa, 101-75, in its second straight meeting in the West Conference of the 2021-22 Japan B.League season Sunday at Wing Arena Kariya in Aichi.

The Diamond Dolphins, who suffered a 91-79 loss to the Seahorses in their game on Saturday, have now won three of their last four games to hike their record to 8-6.

Nagoya needed just the first quarter to establish its dominance, outscoring the Seahorses 20-9 in the opening frame.

Bobby Ray Parks Jr. played the biggest role in the Diamond Dolphins’ win finishing with a team-high 23 points with seven rebounds and one steal.

Scott Eatherton added a 21-point, 14-rebound double-double for Nagoya while Harimoto Tenketsu also finished in double figures with 15 points on 3-of-6 shooting from deep.

Jarrod Uthoff led Mikawa with 24 points and eight rebounds.

The Seahorses slipped to 9-5 in the West.
