The Flying Titans finished fourth last season after losing to the Petro Gazz Angels in the battle for third place three months ago.
The 30-year-old Ferrer adds leadership and veteran presence at Choco Mucho, which has fellow Ateneo product Deanna Wong at setter.
The PVL plans to hold its second pro season in February next year.
