Jaja Santiago scores 17, Saitama makes it two straight

MANILA, Philippines—Saitama notched its second straight win as it took down Denso in four sets, 25-23, 24-26, 25-17, 25-22, in the 2021-22 Japan V.League season Saturday at KitaGas Arena Gym 46 in Sapporo.
The Ageo Medics, who won against Hisamitsu in four sets in their previous game, improved to a 5-4 record while the Airybees slipped to 6-3.

Jaja Santiago and Yuka Sato led Saitama with 17 points apiece while Mami Uchiseto and Kyoko Aoyagi each had 12 points.

The two teams will face each other once more on Sunday 2 p.m. (Manila time) at the same venue.
