Chery Tiggo beats Baguio to stay in hunt for Champions’ League gold

Chery Tiggo scored its third in at the expense of Baguio, 25-13, 25-17, 25-14, Wednesday to keep its gold medal hopes alive in the PNVF Champions League women’s championship at Aquamarine Recreation Center in Lipa City.

May Luna scored 11 points, while Arriane Layug added nine points for the Pro Crossovers who had the luxury of not employing top player Dindin Manabat.

In inflicting the Lady Highlanders their fifth defeat in the tournament, the Pro Crossovers improved their record to 3-1 with a shot at the title against unbeaten F2 Logistics on Thursday.
