MANILA, Philippines—Rain or Shine made sure Blackwater won’t be snapping its losing streak yet as it opened its campaign with a 92-79 win in the 2021 PBA Governors’ Cup Thursday at Ynares Sports Arena.
The Bossing, who owns the longest losing streak in PBA history, dropped their 20th straight loss in a skid that started in the 2020 Philippine Cup.
The Elasto Painters, however, had their work cut out for them as they had to come back from a 41-35 first half deficit with an absolute showcase in the third quarter as they outscored the Bossing 31-12 to take a 66-53 lead heading into the fourth.
