PNVF pencils three big international meets

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) beefed up its calendar for next year with plans to stage three international tournaments in the country.

Pasay and Quezon City will host the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) Volleyball Nations League (VNL) women’s and men’s tournaments, respectively, while Pampanga will be home to the Asian Volleyball Confederation Women’s Cup.

The world’s best teams will take part in VNL, which takes roots in the FIVB World Grand Prix back in the ‘90s.United States, Japan, China, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Thailand and Canada are expected to see action in the women’s VNL Philippine leg on June 14 to 19.

Japan, Argentina, France, Italy, Russia, Germany, Slovenia and Netherlands are included in the pool for the June 21 to 26 men’s edition.
