Clutch Kiefer Ravena shines as Shiga stops skid; Parks helps Nagoya top Toyama

MANILA, Philippines—Kiefer Ravena came up clutch as Shiga finally stopped its slide with a 76-72 win over Yokohama Saturday in the Japan B.League at Ukaruchan Arena.

Ravena completed a three-point play that put the Lakestars ahead fot good, 75-72, with 26 seconds left.

The Filipino star finished with 20 points, eight assists and two steals as Shiga snapped an 11-game losing skid for a 7-13 mark.

His younger brother Thirdy, however, wasn’t as fortunate as San-En absorbed its 12th straight defeat following a 90-85 loss to Osaka in overtime.

Meanwhile, Nagoya recorded its fourth consecutive victory after a 90-85 win over Toyama at Dolphin’s Arena.

Ray Parks scored 15 points on 3-of-6 shooting from long range for the Diamond Dolphins, who blew a 23-point lead before holding off the Grouses.

Dwight Ramos registered 11 points, five rebounds and two steals for Toyama, which failed to make it four in a row.

Nagoya improved to 13-7 while Toyama fell to 7-13.
