Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez tests positive for COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines—Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez tested positive for COVID-19 just mere days after she exited the Pinoy Big Brother House.
Her agency V Management Group announced on Twitter that Valdez, who finished in the top two of the reality show, is experiencing mild symptoms.
Article continues after this advertisement“After experiencing some mild symptoms and a confirmatory RT-PCR test, Alyssa texted positive for COVID-19,” announced the agency. “We’d like to thank those who have sent their well-wishes and prayers her way.”
“Please be rest assured that Alyssa is taking the necessary precautions and will be recovering from home.”

Valdez, who last played from Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, also thanked her supporters.
“Thank you all for the well-wishes!” wrote Valdez on social media.
Valdez exited the PBB House on Sunday and joined Anti Salvacion as the top two housemates.
