MANILA, Philippines—Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez tested positive for COVID-19 just mere days after she exited the Pinoy Big Brother House.

Her agency V Management Group announced on Twitter that Valdez, who finished in the top two of the reality show, is experiencing mild symptoms.

“Please be rest assured that Alyssa is taking the necessary precautions and will be recovering from home.”

Valdez, who last played from Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, also thanked her supporters.

“Thank you all for the well-wishes!” wrote Valdez on social media.
