MANILA, Philippines—Count Alyssa Valdez in for the upcoming season of the Premier Volleyball League.

Valdez hasn’t played since leading Creamline to a second place finish in the PVL Open Conference last August.

“To everyone who’s asking if I’m going to play this coming season, definitely,” Valdez said during a livestream.

The 28-year-old has been busy off the court after recently joining the Pinoy Big Brother Season 10 where she finished in the top 2.

Valdez also tested positive for COVID-19 and is still recovering but vowed to be ready for the PVL.

“I’ll really try my very best. Even though we’re here in the middle of a pandemic, I’m going to workout and prepare for the next season.”

The PVL plans to stage its new season in February in a bubble tournament.
