MANILA, Philippines—Filipino center Kai Sotto sat out Adelaide’s return to action on Tuesday in the National Basketball League.

The 36ers played their first game in a month after a series of postponements due to COVID-19 and upset the Perth Wildcats, 87-74.

Sotto has only played once after missing Adelaide’s first four games of the season due to knee soreness.

The 19-year-old center made his NBL season debut on December 18 in a 93-67 loss to Cairns Taipans—the 36ers’ last game before the postponements.

Sotto saw under 10 minutes of action and finished with one point, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Adelaide improved to 3-3 and dealt second-running Perth just its second loss in seven games.
