NBL: Two Adelaide 36ers games postponed due to COVID-19 protocols
MANILA, Philippines—Two of Adelaide’s games in the National Basketball League have been postponed due to both the league and the Australian government’s COVID-19 protocols.
The 36ers and Kai Sotto were supposed to take on Brisbane at home on Thursday and the Sydney Kings on Sunday on a road game.
Article continues after this advertisement“The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans is the League’s number one priority when considering these matters,” wrote the league in a statement that was posted on its website.
“The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities and further testing will be carried out on any individuals impacted or those deemed close contacts.”
Adelaide is coming off an 88-83 overtime win over Melbourne United where Sotto played a key role in snapping the defending champions’ eight-game winning streak.
