MANILA, Philippines—A rare all-Filipino showdown has been set with two explosive flyweights in Lito Adiwang and Jeremy Miado clash next month.
The bout has been added to the stacked ONE X card scheduled on March 26 in Singapore.
Adiwang (13-4)dropped his previous fight—a second-round submission loss to Jarred Brooks last October—but he remains a serious threat in the division.
Miado (10-4), meanwhile, has won two in a row after a pair of knockout victories over China’s Miao Li Tao.
It’s not too often that two Filipino warriors find themselves fighting against each other but it’s happened before.
Back in 2019, Joshua Pacio submitted Rene Catalan to retain his strawweight belt while in 2013, Honorio Banario beat Eric Kelly for the featherweight crown.
