MANILA, Philippines–Pulling off a master stroke by bringing Team Philippines at football’s grandest stage, the national women’s football team is entitled to collect P1.250 million worth of special incentives from the government through the Philippine Sports Commission.

The PSC board unanimously agreed to shell out the bonus to recognize the significance of the squad’s breakthrough performance during the Asian Cup and the Filipino lady booters eventual qualification to the 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup.
