MANILA,Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas will be allowed a home court advantage in the upcoming February window of the 2023 Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers here after it was announced that fans will be allowed back at the venue.
Smart Araneta Coliseum, through its ticketing outfit Ticketnet, revealed its seat prices for lower box and upper box during the Group A games of the Philippines, South Korea, New Zealand, and India.
Lower box tickets will be sold at P530 while upper box seats are priced at P215 but spectators will have to adhere to strict health protocols that the venue will impose.
Only vaccinated individuals, aged 12-years-old and above, will be allowed to enter and that they should bring their vaccination cards with them to enter the building—the same set up that the PBA uses for the 2021-22 Governors’ Cup.
Initially, fans were ruled out because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A valid ID or a government issued ID is also required and fans were told register for a Kyusi Pass (QC Pass), the city’s official contract tracing solution.
Masks will be strictly implemented inside the Big Dome and fans won’t be allowed to eat in the audience area.
Gilas Pilipinas will play South Korea on the 24th, India on the 25th, and New Zealand on the 27th.
