Alex Eala enters W25 Macon main draw

MANILA, Philippines—Tennis star Alex Eala took care of business in her qualifying matches to enter the main draw of the W25 Macon tennis tournament in France.
Eala dispatched a pair of hometown bets, beating Ines Nicault, 6-4, 6-3, on Monday after knocking off Helena Stevic, 6-0, 7-5, on Sunday.
Eala campaign in the main draw starts on Wednesday against Anna Ukolova of Russia in the Round of 32.
Ukolova beat Celia Cervino Ruiz of Spain, 6-2, 6-4, in their qualifying match on Monday.
The 16-year-old Eala aims to have a deeper run this time after getting the boot in the last 16 of the ITF W60 Grenoble on Thursday.
