F2 Logistics look to put hand on playoff bonus
F2 Logistics may be the newcomer that everyone feared. But for coach Benson Bocboc, they’re just a club that managed to “polish our basic skills.”
Taking the fancy for understatement from his predecessor Ramil de Jesus, Bocboc said he’s just happy that everyone, including a bench spearheaded by the recuperating Kim Fajardo, has been on the same page so far in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

He also appears not much concerned that on Sunday they will go up against Cignal HD for a chance to score win No. 3, that would practically secure a twice-to-beat advantage for the team.
“I haven’t watch them (Cignal HD) play, maybe on Sunday,” said Bocboc.

Different challenge
But the HD Spikers might pose a different challenge, as they are also coming from a big triumph over the defending champions Crossovers, who haven’t been themselves in the tournament.
“I’m very happy with this group because they know when to make adjustments,” said Cignal coach Shaq delos Santos.
Chery Tiggo will try to move out of a rut when it takes on Choco Mucho in the other match at Paco Arena in Manila.
But it won’t be an easy ride for the Crossovers because the Flying Titans aced their first assignment by beating Black Mamba Army in three sets.
Despite the presence of Thailand League veterans and national team mainstays Mylene Paat and Dindin Manabat, Chery Tiggo could not get the right mix in its first two matches.
Now the circumstance is dire for the Crossovers who may have to fight it out with the Lady Troopers for the last spot in the next round. Both are at 0-2 (win-loss).
On the other hand, Choco Mucho unveiled just how potent its roster depth can be.
The Flying Titans supercharged their squad by adding the likes of Des Cheng, Isa Molde, Cherry Nunag, Aduke Ogunsanya, Jem Ferrer and Thang Ponce.
“We’re very, very happy that we have new guns. We’re happy that everyone from our team is ready to deliver,” mainstay Bea de Leon said.
