MANILA, Philippines — Kai Sotto was not fielded in the second half as the Adelaide 36ers fell short to the Brisbane Bullets, 92-91, in Australia’s National Basketball League on Sunday at Nissan Arena.

Sotto only played for four minutes and 33 seconds in the first half, finishing with three points, two rebounds and a block.

Jason Cadee unloaded 26 points from seven three-pointers — including a trey that gave the Bullets an 89-86 breather in the final two-minute mark.

Lamar Patterson had 14 points, while Tom Digbeu sank the two crucial free throws that sealed their win as he added 13 points and four rebounds, ending Brisbane’s two-game skid for an improved 9-15 card.

Adelaide suffered its second straight loss, sliding to 7-15.

Daniel Johnson carried the 36ers with 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Sunday Dech had 14 points, while Todd Withers and Hyrum Harris added 12 each.

The 36ers hope to end their slump against the Sydney Kings on Sunday at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
