MANILA, Philippines — Dwight Ramos missed another match but the Toyama Grouses beat the Yokohama B-Corsairs anew, 92-76, in Japan B.League on Sunday at Kurobe City Gymnasium.
Ramos, whose absence over the weekend has yet to be explained by the team, also sat out the Grouses’ 90-65 victory on Saturday.
Julian Mavunga provided the spark off the bench with 19 points, seven assists, and four rebounds to lead Toyama to improve its record to 18-29.
Brice Johnson put up 18 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and three assists, while Joshua Smith also scored 18 points, five boards and four assists.
However, Ramos’ compatriots in Kapan continued to struggle in their respective games.

Kiefer Ravena delivered 12 points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals but the Shiga Lakestars absorbed their 15th straight defeat at the hands of the Ryukyu Golden Kings, 94-78, at Okinawa Arena.
Shiga dropped to 10-32 record.
Thirdy Ravena unleashed 21 points only for the San-En NeoPhoenix to yield to Osaka Evessa, 108-81, at Ookini Arena Maishima.
The younger Ravena sparked San-En off the bench, shooting 8-of-11 from the field and had three assists and two rebounds but the NeoPhoenix slid to 8-36.
Kobe Paras went scoreless as Niigata Albirex BB (5-38) fell to Utsunomiya Brex, 92-62, at City Hall Plaza Aore Nagaoka.
Javi Gomez de Liano was also scoreless in one minute and 36 seconds of play as Ibaraki Robots (13-31) succumbed to the Chiba Jets, 87-82, at Adastria Mito Arena.
