NCAA: San Beda scrapes past San Sebastian on Bahio game-winner
MANILA, Philippines–JB Bahio knocked in a put-back as the final buzzer sounded to give a San Beda 61-60 squeaker win over San Sebastian Friday keeping its slate immaculate in the NCAA Season 97 men’s basketball at La Salle Greenhills Gym.
The Red Lions thus cored their fourth win in as any games to crowd the defending champions Letran Knights in the lead.
Rommel Calahat scored four points in the final minute including a short stab in the last 6.8 seconds for a 60-59 San Sebastian lead. The Stags fell to 1-3.
Earlier, the Knights coasted to an 80-60 win over the erstwhile unbeaten Mapua Cardinals.
