SEA Games: PH’s Kim Mangrobang wins third straight women’s triathlon gold

MANILA, Philippines—Kim Mangrobang on Saturday continued her dominance in women’s individual triathlon at the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.
Mangrobang retained her title after clocking 2:13.310 for her third straight gold medal.
The Philippines, however, couldn’t get a one-two finish this time with Raven Faith Alcoseba settling for the bronze with a time of 2:18.300.
Inge Prasetyo of Indonesia claimed the silver medal with 2:16.380.
Mangrobang, 30, made it a double gold victory for Philippine triathlon for the second consecutive Games.
Fernando Casares and Andrew Kim Remolino zoomed to a one-two finish for the Philippines in the men’s individual event.
