SEA Games: Philippines wins four medals in greco roman
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine wrestling team collected a silver and three bronze medals in the men’s greco roman competition of the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Tuesday at Gia Lam Gymnasium in Vietnam.
Jefferson Manatad earned a silver medal in the men’s greco roman 87-kilogram class with an 8-2 win over Sophak Keo of Cambodia in the finals round 3.
Manatad recovered from a slow start, losing 2-12 to Vietnam’s Din Hieu Ngihiem in the first round of qualification. He bounced back with an 8-0 conquest over Thailand’s Chiranuwat Chamnanjan in round 2.

Meanwhile, Noel Norada, Margarito Angana Jr., and Jason Balabal copped bronze medals in their respective classes.
Norada fell to gold medalist Manh Hung Bui of Vietnam, 0-8, in the 67kg final round 3

Angana also beat Cambodian Bunna Yon, 8-0, in the 60kg final round 5.
