SEA Games: Rubilen Amit bests Chezka Centeno this time to win 10-ball gold

MANILA, Philippines—Rubilen Amit turned the tables on Chezka Centeno after winning the gold medal in the women’s 10-ball singles at the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at Ha Dong Gymnasium.
After Centeno knotted the match at 5-5, Amit took the next two racks including a break and run out in the 12th to claim her second gold medal in Vietnam.
The 40-year-old Amit also won the gold in 9-ball singles on Tuesday.
In the 2019 Games in Manila, it was Centeno who topped Amit in their all-Filipino final match in 10-ball.
Reigning US Open champion Carlo Biado and Johann Chua dispute the men’s 10-ball singles gold later at 3 p.m.
