MANILA, Philippines–National University woke up from a third-set nap to put away a hard-fighting Adamson, 25-20, 25-17, 13-25, 25-13, Thursday and continue its unbeaten run in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball at Mall of Asia Arena.

After tucking away the first two sets, the Lady Bulldogs lulled themselves into complacency, allowing the Lady Falcons to steal a set — something that NU has only allowed three times before.

But NU put its feet down, slamming Adamson in the fourth to ensure their 11th victory in as many games. The Lady Bulldogs also halted the Lady Falcons’ two-game winning streak for a 6-5 record.

Alyssa Solomon led NU with 20 points, while Michaela Belen and Princess Robless added 18 and 12 points, respectively. Ivy Lacsina chipped in 10 for NU including the match-clinching ace.

Camilla Lamina once again dished out the ball well with 25 excellent sets for the Lady Bulldogs.
