The 22-year-old bested South Korea’s Kim Hansol and China’s Yang Jiaxing, who both scored 14.333 with the Korean taking the silver.
On Thursday, Yulo won the country’s maiden silver medal in the men’s all-around event that earned him a ticket to FIG Artistic World Championships in Liverpool from October 29 to November 6.
Yulo, however, settled for fourth in the still rings event, where he scored 14.000 falling short of a podium finish to bronze medalist Guanyi-Yi Lin of Taiwan, who tallied 14.200 points.
China’s Xingyu Lan ruled the event with 14.500 points, while Iran’s Mahdi Amad Kohani got silver with 14.433.
Yulo will compete in vault and parallel bars on Saturday. He placed No.1 in vault with a score of 14.867 and finished seventh in the parallel bars last Thursday.
