MANILA, Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas took another close loss, 106-102, to wrap up its two-game friendly series with South Korea on Saturday at Anyang Gymnasium.

Dwight Ramos led the way for the Nationals with a game-high 31 points on an efficient 13-of-17 shooting from the field that went with eight rebounds in a losing effort.

Rhenz Abando was another bright spot for Gilas with 19 points to follow up his 11-point debut on Friday.

The Filipinos got off to a solid start but failed to sustain their play in the second half and were outscored 35-21 in the third quarter.

RJ Abarrientos also showed out for Gilas with 17 while Carl Tamayo added 12 points and six assists.

Already dealing with injuries to naturalized center Ange Kouame and Dave Ildefonso, Gilas’ health woes piled up with Francis Lopez hurting his ankle in the first half.

Gilas lost 96-92 to Korea on Friday in a game it almost came back from a 17-point deficit.
