MANILA, Philippines—Newly-minted NBA champions the Golden State Warriors lead this edition of Newsmakers.
The Warriors captured their fourth title in eight years after topping the Boston Celtics in six games.
Also making the list is 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams.
Williams is making a return in a major tournament after a long hiatus.
Rounding out the list are history-seeking National University, world champion gymnast Carlos Yulo and three-belt boxing champion Artur Beterbiev.
