Fans allowed at AFF Women’s Championship; tickets go on sale Friday
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is opening the games of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship 2022 to the fans in a limited seating capacity.
The selling of tickets for the 11-nation competition began on Friday at all SM Ticket outlets nationwide and online.
Article continues after this advertisementAll the Philippine women’s football team matches will be held at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium, which will host an international tournament for the first time since the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
It will be the Filipinas’ first home tournament since making history with a first-ever qualification to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand last January and winning their first bronze medal since 1985 in the 31st SEA Games last May.
The historic venue has three categories with the Grandstand Category 1 selling at Php 400. The Grandstand Category 2 sells at Php 300, while seats in the bleachers area are worth Php 150.

All spectators must present proof of complete vaccination to watch the games.
The Filipinas will open their Group A campaign against Australia on July 4 at 7 p.m. They will face Singapore on July 6, Malaysia (July 8), Indonesia (July 10), and Thailand (July 12). All of their matches are scheduled at 7 p.m.
Cignal TV will air the women’s national team’s first four games on free TV channel One Sports and on its premium channel One Sports+, while their match against Thailand will only be aired live on One Sports+ while One Sports will have the game at a later time.
Group B is composed of defending champion Vietnam, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, and Laos.
