MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala kicked off her W100 Grodzisk Mazowiecki campaign with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Laura Svatikova of Slovakia, 6-4, 6-4, on Tuesday evening (Manila time) in Poland.
