MANILA, Philippines — Creamline star Tots Carlos raised her second Premier Volleyball League MVP to cap her team’s back-to-back championships on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

The University of the Philippines standout was named as the Invitational Conference MVP moments after the Cool Smashers swept KingWhale Taipei for their fifth PVL championship in seven finals appearances.

Creamline’s scoring machine tied Myla Pablo as the second-winningest MVP, behind her teammate Alyssa Valdez, who owns three MVP plums.

Carlos also won her second straight Best Opposite Spiker award after leading the scoring in the semifinal round with a total of 82 points built on 71 attacks, eight blocks, and three aces. She was No.3 in spiking with 36.04% attack rate.

Valdez and Cignal star Ces Molina were named as the Best Outside Hitters of the conference.

Two Taiwanese players from silver medalist KingWhale were part of the Invitationals’ premier team with Liao Yi-Jen winning the best setter after dishing out 6.18 excellent sets per set in the semis.

Qiu Shi-Qing, who averaged 3.59 digs per set, earned the Best Libero.

PLDT’s Mika Reyes and Dell Palomata were named as the conference’s Best Middle Blockers.
