MANILA, Philippines—University of Santo Tomas’s recruitment series continues.

A few days after securing 6-foot-7 African Honda Mady Tounkara, the Growling Tigers have secured the services of Kylle Magdangal, the son of PBA legend Kenneth Duremdes.

The 18-year-old confirmed the news on his Facebook account, posting a picture of him, incoming UST head tactician Bal David and assistant coach Rodney Santos.

Magdangal will join the ranks of current UST backcourt, Kean Baclaan, Nic Cabañero and Jamba Garing.

There will be no need for a residency year for the MPBL commissioner’s kid, as he will be eligible to play in Season 85.

Earlier this month before locking Tounkara and Magdangal, the Laure sisters’ youngest brother, Echo Laure, has also committed to UST.

David, Santos and interim head coach Ronald Magtulis will call the shots for the Tigers, who finished with a 3-11 record in UAAP Season 84.
