MANILA, Philippines—Eya Laure is running it back with University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament.

After months of uncertainty with regard to her collegiate career, the 23-year-old star spiker expressed her commitment to lead the Tigresses for another season.

“Finally, I’m back home… Paano ba yan dito ulit ako dinala ng Chery Tiggo ko? See you next season UST Community,” wrote Laure on her social media accounts.

Laure was an MVP candidate and the league’s top scorer in Season 84 with 272 points as UST finished No. 3 with a 9-5 record.

However, the Tigresses were eliminated by the No. 4 Ateneo Blue Eagles in the stepladder semifinals.

The 2019 UAAP rookie of the year, who led UST to the finals with Sisi Rondina three years ago, is returning with Imee Hernandez, Maji Mangulabnan, Yssa Jimenez, Ypril Tapia, and Camille Victoria.
