B.League: Dwight Ramos haunts former team; Ray Parks, Thirdy Ravena also win
MANILA, Philippines—Dwight Ramos haunted his former team as he delivered an all-around game in the Levanga Hokkaido’s dominant 100-77 win over the Toyama Grouses in the 2022-23 Japan B.League season on Saturday at Hokkai Kitayell.
Ramos helped Hokkaido end a four-game skid with nine points, nine assists, four rebounds and five steals in 25 minutes of play. It was his first game against the team that first gave him an opportunity to play in Japan last season.

Meanwhile, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., Jay Washington, and Thirdy Ravena were also triumphant in their respective games.
Parks sparked the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins off the bench to beat the Tokohama B-Corsairs, 91-84, at Yokohama International Pool.
Article continues after this advertisementThe Gilas Pilipinas guard had eight points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field to go with three rebounds, and two assists as Nagoya (4-1) got back on the winning track.
Ravena, on the other hand, poured in eight points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals as the San-En NeoPhoenix took down the Ibaraki Robots, 90-80, to climb to 3-2 at Hitachi City Ikenokawa Sakura Arena.
Washington was scoreless but had an assist and a steal in six minutes as the Ryukyu Golden Kings (4-1) dominated Niigata Albirex BB, 93-53, at Okinawa Arena.
Kiefer Ravena’s Shiga Lakes fell to Justine Baltazar and the Hiroshima Dragonflies, 86-83, at Ukaruchan Arena.
The elder Ravena had 10 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals off the bench as Shiga saw its two-game winning run snapped, falling to 2-3. Hiroshima, which benched Baltazar anew, won its third game in five outings.
Matthew Wright delivered 10 points, four assists, and three steals but Kyoto Hannaryz (1-4) suffered their third straight loss at the hands of SeaHorses Mikawa, 74-69, at Sky Hall Toyota.
In B2 play, Roosevelt Adams had six points on 2-of-7 shooting to go with two boards in his first game with the Kagawa Five Arrows (1-4), who fell to the Kumamoto Volters, 91-74, at Takamatsu City Gymnasium.
Jordan Heading tallied a team-high 25 points on 5-of-6 shooting from deep as the Nagasaki Velca trounced Aomori Wat, 103-87, for their third straight win to improve to 4-1.
Kobe Paras sat out anew as Altiri Chiba (3-2) annihilated Fukushima Firebonds, 84-65, at Chiba Port Arena.
