RJ Abarrientos, Ulsan beat SJ Belangel, Daegu in KBL

MANILA, Philippines—RJ Abarrientos and the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus blew past SJ Belangel and Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, 81-71, in the Korean Basketball League at Daegu Gymnasium on Friday.

The former Far Eastern University standout finished with 17 points but made only three out of his 10 attempts from the field. He also finished with three rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Belangel, on the other end, finished with 13 markers, shooting 50 percent from the field, for Daegu in the loss.

Gauge Prim also contributed big buckets for Ulsan with 15 to his name while Lee Woo Seok had 13.

At Changwon Gymnasium, Anyang KGC defeated Changwon LG Sakers, 83-79. Rhenz Abando still was not utilized.

Ethan Alvano also paced Wonju DB Promy over Seoul SK Knights, 92-83, at Wonju Gymnasium.

The Fil-Am standout finished with 11 assists to go along with eight markers and a steal.
