MANILA, Philippines—Ethan Alvano balled out in Wonju DB Promy’s win against Jeonju KCC Egis, 87-82, in the Korean Basketball League at Jeonju Gymnasium on Saturday.
Alvano, one of the Filipino imports in Korea, finished with 26 big points to power his team to a 4-2 record.
The former Alab Pilipinas player sank three triples in four attempts while garnering four assists, a rebound and a steal.
Dewan Hernandez helped the Fil-Am guard with 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Doo Kyung-min also chipped in 15 for the Wonju victory.
Jeonju turned to Heo Ung’s 27 markers and five dimes on a losing effort. Ricardo Ratcliffe and former NBA veteran Rondae Hollis-Jefferson also contributed 21 and 10 for the Egis.
